What's in a Name?

I don't know how the rest of the world is, but I often find myself looking at an individual and thinking, "she looks like a Tiffany," or "if his name's not Richard, it should be."  I find that I associate certain names with certain types of people. I can not picture, for example, anyone named Nathan being a red headed football player... that would have to be a Justin. I sometimes wonder if I fit my "name type." Am I a Kimberly? Do people look at me and say, "she's more like an Ashley?" Hopefully I'm memorable enough that people think of someone like me when they think of a Kim.
Last night I had a long discussion with my friends about names, mostly about what we wanted our future children to be named. "Rambo" was brought up more that a few times, and "Anthrax" was thrown in there, too. My favorites are Winston, Alex(andra), and Paul. James seemed to be liked by all, and we decided that Sedan is a terrible name for anyone... But what's in a name? "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.." (Shakepeare's Romeo & Juliet)

yay kim blogged again. you make a good kim I would say. I think there are some names I just could never name my kid because those names have been ruined by the memories I have of someone with that name.
